Although, Gulf Coast Claims Facility administrator Kenneth Feinberg had agreed to meet with a coalition of local citizens on two occasions during meetings held by the facility in South Louisiana, the presidential appointee has not responded to repeated attempts to facilitate the gathering.
If last Saturday’s Rally for the Truth on Grand Isle, Louisiana is any indication, a lot of gulf coast residents are angry, sick, and tired.
But they are also getting energized and organized to fight for their homeland, after seven months of a woefully inadequate response to the BP oil and dispersant crisis from the “powers that be.”

13 Days!! But it's not what I expected!! BP was paying me $1200 a month x 6 months - should have got $7,200 I only received half of that!
When I asked why? And how? They arrived at that figure? The adjustor didn't know?!! And if I wanted more money, I'd have to file for my final payment!!
What's going on with his famous phase "48 hrs and you'll get a check??" I did my claim, last Monday and it's still Under review!! I've been a shrimper, more than 20 years and I know people, that have only crabbed 2 years and they've already received their checks!!! What's the hold up??? They did their claims 3-4 days after I did?! I don't know what to think, anymore !!
